I was on holiday for not quite a week and I got so little accomplished XD
We went to Vancouver for a combination of business, personal and family visit. The first half of the trip was kinda whatevs since my husband was at work all day and it was so foggy I basically stayed all day at our Airbnb so I didn’t get lost forever. The fog finally cleared up on our very last day which meant we got to do a lot more exploring. It’s December, so it was a little weird for me to be comfortable outdoors without way too many layers, but the west coast is a magical place where things don’t freeze apparently.
We stayed in Deep Cove, which is at the bottom end of Mt Seymour Provincial Park. It’s really quite a cute place and I recommend it if you’re in the area. The food in every place we went was amazing, gender neutral bathrooms in all of them as well, plus they’re really accommodating for any types of food restrictions.
We didn’t get to see too much. We had planned on doing the Capilano Suspension Bridges, but it was too foggy to really bother. We did end up going to Stanley Park and the UBC Campus, both of which I highly recommend. Stanley Park has a lot of spots that look straight out of a fairytale.
Anyhoo. I got no writing done while I was gone, so I’m going to get back on track with that.
Happy writing!
