Guys…my book is out! I keep saying it and it just keeps seeming so surreal. It went live yesterday and I had no idea until my husband sent me all the links. As far as I knew the book was going to be live on the publisher website only, with the third party retailers taking several more weeks to have the book live on their websites.
This is 4 years of work finally come to fruition and it feels completely amazing. I’m so thankful to the people who’ve supported my dream and my writing ability over the years. It’s been an interesting experience and I’m excited to get my future projects out on the market.

My first official sale was made well before the book came out. The honor goes to Laverne McRae of Cape Breton Island. We stayed at her B&B on our honeymoon in September and she handed me the money for a copy when it came out. I don’t have a physical copy yet, but as soon as I do it will be in the mail for her. FYI, if you’re ever in Cape Breton, I highly recommend her B&B (http://www.baddeckriverside.com/). Laverne and Gordon are the sweetest couple and we had a phenomenal time.
My first official sale of the e-book is by my oldest friend, Brandy. I sent her a text that the book was out and she immediately purchased it and sent me a picture of it on her Kobo.
I have no idea how many copies I’ve sold yet, that’s something I find out at the end of each quarter (or when I get paid, I’m not quite clear on it), so if you have purchased the book I’d love to know 🙂
